Student Teacher with Balanced Body

Maya Barnes, a native of Santa Cruz, discovered her passion for movement in high school through yoga and mat Pilates. At 18, she began teaching group fitness classes, including hot Pilates, yoga, and yoga sculpt, quickly falling in love with the holistic benefits of Pilates.

Now, as she works toward completing her comprehensive Pilates training with Balanced Body, Maya brings fresh insights and a deep commitment to the mind-body connection. Her classes are designed to help clients enhance their strength, flexibility, and overall well-being in a welcoming and supportive environment.
