Bobby Dahlmeier San Miguel
(he/him)
Student Teacher
Balanced Body Movement Principles, Reformer 1 & 2
American Council on Exercise Certified Health Coach, Personal Trainer, & Group Fitness Instructor
Bobby discovered his love for health and fitness while attending North Carolina State University. He began teaching Step Aerobics in 2011 while pursuing his BA in Plant Biology. He moved to Santa Cruz county in 2012 to complete his MS in Marine Science at Moss Landing Marine Labs studying kelp. While pursuing his studies, he worked at several gyms in the South Bay teaching a variety of group fitness classes including Zumba, Cycle, Aqua, TurboKick, PiYo, P90x, and INSANITY among others. Bobby's first experience with Pilates was a private session with Sandy several years ago gifted to him by his in-laws. During that session, he experienced for the first time how to properly engage his core and pelvic floor, which rocked his world. After taking regular group classes at Monarch and falling in love with Pilates, he began his Reformer teacher training through Balanced Body. He looks forward to expanding his Pilates education in the years to come. Bobby brings a fabulous mix professionalism and pizazz with a strong movement ethic and background. His classes are fun and challenging and sure to keep you wanting more.
