WEIGHT LIFTING PREP CLASSES

Learn or enhance form and strategies in the Weight Lifting Prep classes before scheduling a Weight Lifting Screening

1. PELVIC HEALTH I: Learn how to use pelvic floor and core to maintain a neutral pelvis when lifting weights.

2.SHOULDER HEALTH: Learn how your core and body mechanics can improve shoulder mobility & strength while also protecting your spine

3. FOUNDATIONS: Improve core strength, control and strategies in preparation for adding weights in POWER class.

4.POWER: Combines Pilates form with weights to prepare for the barbell exercises practiced in our Weight lifting class ‍ ‍

WEIGHT LIFTING SCREENING

Reduce risk of injury as you increase load through preparation and awareness. The screening is a one on one 50 minute session that will:

  • evaluate movement tendencies

  • identify challenges 

  • establish cues for new strategies

  • set starting weight for each exercise and set up

  • prepare you to seamlessly join on going classes
