Megan began practicing Pilates in 2011 after the birth of her daughter. Like many women, she was determined to renew her strength postpartum. She discovered Pilates brought more than strength, she felt empowered and inspired. She wanted to share this feeling of success with others. In 2016 Megan began teaching Pilates Mat at a local studio. Her desire to learn more about the body and movement led her to Monarch Pilates. At Monarch she learned how much more Pilates had to offer; by properly connecting her core and correcting her movement tendencies, she was able to reduce neck and back pain that had challenged her for years. It opened her eyes to a whole new avenue of teaching. In 2019 she completed the Comprehensive Polestar Pilates training. She enjoys combining her love of cardio with her knowledge of how to use the body correctly. Megan is an excellent choice when looking for a teacher to meet your fitness goals while also learning how to move safely and efficiently.
